Cougar Town Enlists Edwin Hodge As Laurie's New Boyfriend

Busy Phillips, Edwin Hodge Ten-hut! Cougar Town has enlisted a new man to win Laurie's heart. The ABC comedy has cast Edwin Hodge to play Wade opposite Busy Philipps' Laurie, TVLine reports. Wade is a soldier stationed in the Middle East, so expect Travis (Dan Byrd) to get involved to teach the long-distance lovers how to Skype. From Homer Simpson to Luke Dunphy: TV's biggest dopes Hodge's TV credits include playing Jack's pal Marcus on Jack & Bobby, Jamaal Crenshaw on Boston Public and guest appearances on Bones, Grey's Anatomy, One Tree Hill and The Mentalist, among others. ABC recently cut back Cougar Town's Season 3 episode order from 22 to 15. The series will return sometime in March.
